Uh, it was, again, as all trips are to Ireland, you know, i- it's, it's so, it's so rewarding to go there because there's almost nothing that you look back and say, "I wish I hadn't done that." It's always good, e- every, every single bit of it.

Um, the courses, uh, the food, the lodging, the people, um, led by, of course, the people who connect us, uh, to the game, those of us who report on the game, uh, uh, and who rely on these people with Irish tourism to, to make that possible for us.

A big shout-out to Allison Metcalfe, uh, to Rory Matthews, my brother from another mother, who takes us on these trips, to Bernard McMullen and all of his team who make the trips possible.

It was about a week, but we did get a, get a chance to, uh, take a look at Adare Manor.

I think that was a highlight of it, to, uh, uh, take a look at this venue that's gonna be the host of the 2027 Ryder Cup.

Uh, uh, JP McManus and his guys, JP is the owner of Adare Manor, and, uh, if you look back into the archives here, you see that we did an interview with JP, and JP does not give interviews famously.

But he talked to us, and he is just, just, uh, he's such a great guy, just down to earth, uh, a cool dude, and, uh, he has made, uh, this place into one of the most special destinations in the world.

As soon as you go through the gates, it's like, it's like Oz, you know? You're, you're, you're living in a black and white world, and all of a sudden you're seeing things in color.

Uh, the hotel is an old castle that has been turned into, uh, spectacular lodging.

They're also building new rooms now to accommodate, uh, the increased number of guests they're going to get now and in the future based on this Ryder Cup.

I, I stayed there a couple of times, and the room that I had, I will tell you, is maybe the best room I've ever had in a hotel room.

There was a, a, a plush couch, an armchair, a coffee table, and a 50-inch TV in the bathroom, okay? This is to give you an idea of the type of luxury that you're gonna get when you go to Adare Manor.

And the golf course, uh, uh, certainly, uh, is an extension of that type of, of care and, and, uh, prestige and distinction.
