The Eriks (Kuhre & Landi) breakdown another thrilling overtime, 5-4 in favor of San Jose over Los Angeles. The Sharks' Igor Chernyshov had two goals, including the overtime winner as Team Teal is 2-0…
Yeah, I mean, like you said, right? I mean, the beginning of the game that it started out and I thought that the team kind of instead of dictated the play had the play dictated to them a little bit by the by the Kings.
Because, I mean, you skate off with just a 1-0 lead or a 1-0 deficit thanks to Adrian Kempe's goal on the power play from Panarin and Clark.
I felt that we saw a little bit of a regression, but I think some of the things that we were worried and concerned about with Jacob Truba and just how he can kind of get caught a little flat-footed, I think we saw a little bit of that in that first period where if he's not really ready to move, he can look a little slow.
So I think, you know, again, it kind of just shows you that the team had a little bit of a different start.
Instead of starting with some energy, they kind of had the pace of play dictated to them.
Really seemed to be stymied by that 1-3-1 that Um, LA was putting out very early on.
Um, it seemed like every time the sharks got, uh, had a steam through the neutral zone, uh, they would stand them up at the blue line and, and the sharks would just have a fizzled out attack on the offensive zone.
