We're talking today about the interaction between two celebrities.
She's an actress and singer.
Uh, she's one of the best-selling music artists that has ever been.
She's estimated sales of 90 million, 90 million record.
She's also got a massive following on social media, so she's the sixth most, most followed person on Instagram.
And yeah, that's, that's pretty big.
Uh, I think she's 33, but recently has, has announced that she's gonna take a break from her work, singing and acting, and she's just said really to have a bit of a rest and recuperate.
But the, what people have, have noticed is that she looks very tired.
She also looks very thin.
So there's been a lot of speculation about whether or not, in particular, she has an eating disorder, anorexia.
Um, people have been concerned about her for a while, have been making lots of comments, and she has come back at this and said, "Look, the comments are really unhelpful, and that's one of the reasons why I'm taking a break.
People are not entitled to comment on me and my appearance.
It's been very damaging." So that's her.
Emma, she has recently released a music video, so I watched it.
It's quite graphic actually, so, uh, 'cause there's blood in it.
What's interesting, Emma, is exactly what you just said being played out, which is people feeling like they can comment on her, her body, and basically pull her apart online.
So she is, uh, auditioning in front of four or five old crusty men, and they're kind of pulling her apart, but not really for good reasons, just kind of just basically judging her on her appearance.
And then in her fantasy she gets a chainsaw, and she just hacks them to pieces.
And it's so, it's, like, pretty, honestly, guys, it's, like, pretty graphic.
But what is interesting is just how these two things have coincided, Emma, because exactly what you said is actually playing out in reality, so that, I, I don't know if that's coincidence or it, or, or, or not.
