yeah yeah basically so what we're going to do is we're going to look at the relationship between the score of a game and its humor and what's fun is you know i'd say on the most part most games aren't really that funny even though a lot of video games really kind of embrace a sillier aesthetic most games aren't laugh out loud funny as far as the writing Yeah, so when you look at games that do try to be funny, it's interesting to see how they use the music.

A lot of times we'll see music being more subdued, where really the music is supposed to be kind of the straight man.

But then in other cases like this, the music is really trying to be funny and it's elevating the...

one cool thing about this playlist, it's a very unique playlist today, guys, and we're going to have every possible example of humor in games.

A track that is funny on its own, a game that is funny on its own, maybe a track that isn't funny and that's kind of what makes it work is kind of the juxtaposition.

What's great about that piece is that the composer, Christoph Harald, takes the melody and the theme that's very kind of rousing.
