We've got an awesome episode for you today, and it has to do with safe exercises.
Look, for some reason, most of the common exercise advice that any of us have ever heard when we're starting out comes from people training for things like power lifting, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, et cetera, and then it gets handed to us, the general practitioners of fitness, as though those are the exercises we're supposed to do.
We're just busy parents, professionals, people who have general goals to be stronger, to get fit, to run farther, to feel better, to look better, and so many of us never pull up and ask ourselves, "Should we be doing these exercises?" So what I'm gonna do today with Justin Mazar as my co-host who joins me is, we are gonna count down what I'll call eight unnecessary exercises that are quietly wrecking your joints, making exercise less safe, and potentially reducing your overall health span.
And some of these movements are sacred cows that I know I'm gonna catch a lot of heat for, but we're gonna unpack each of these eight exercises and then give you alternate solutions that are just as effective for the muscles that you're working without the added safety risk.
