Ep 264: Stacey on drafting for needs, Jokic vs Dort, and mindset for the rest of the season

Let's talk about what happened at the United Center on Sunday.

It looked like we were headed to loss number 12.

Milwaukee went up by as many as 16 points.

Bulls were throwing the ball around.

And then all of a sudden, it clicked in.

A 27-0 run.

Have you ever seen that before in your long NBA career, Stace?

No, I've never seen him run like that.

You know, I was thinking last night, both me and Adam were talking about it.

The Bulls were overdue for something like that.

After that horrendous February, they were due to have like this remarkable quarter, remarkable performance.

And it was good to see starting March on a good note because you know what? Even though they won last night, there's still a lot of potholes in the road.

There's still a lot of good teams they have to face.

You've got Oklahoma City coming in this week.

You've got to go on the road and play Phoenix, who's been playing really well.

They're a playoff-caliber team.

The Lakers, the Clippers.

So the road doesn't get easier, Mark.

So it was good just for one night after enduring 11 straight losses.

For one night, it felt really good to get a win.

We talked about some of the players that were acquired in trades last week.

One guy we didn't talk about was Nick Richards, and he's been interesting.

At times, the way that he can dive to the rim, he's a vertical finisher, and he had that fantastic slam dunk on the pass from Josh Giddey in the game against Milwaukee.

What do you think about him overall, and what do you think about his chances of maybe staying with the Bulls next season?

Well, he's clearly a big that can dive to the basket, finish around the hoop.
