Joe Massero of the New Haven Pizza Crew discusses the latest pizza news out of New Haven and elsewhere in Connecticut.
I had a little bit of lunch myself just about 10 minutes ago because I knew that this hour would make me hungry because we're talking about pizza.
And as you know, it's been a hot topic in Connecticut now for a number of years, just how good our pizza is.

But, you know, during the week, how many times do you actually go out and sample or try some pizza at different places?
You know, so I'll go on, like, spurts where I'll be out It could be almost every day where I'll just stop in a spot, try it out.
Or I know some of these guys, if I drive by and I'm going through a town, I might just stop in and say hello just because I'm right there.
How do you not stop in and see one of your buddies who makes pizza all the time?
For instance, last night, I was driving through Madison, and I actually stopped at Amato's Pizza and Pasta in Madison, and I hung out with Amato for about two hours while he was going through a dinner rush, just hanging out.
