Racing Post this morning suggesting he's going to carry on riding for Ammo, and he's jocked up at Ascot on Friday.

I thought when I seen the declarations on Friday morning that I had to look up, was David suspended last Sunday or was he riding in France? But he wasn't from what I could see.

And Ross O'Ryan was drafted in to ride the two hot, not hot putts, but two live chance for ammo at the Curran Sunday.

And it was quite notable that in the last couple of weeks, particularly on Sundays in Ireland, David hadn't been overriding them.

He'd seen the in-house riders, Robson Daggier and the likes of Billy Lee, Colin Keane, if they're available, being used.

And if he hasn't lost a job, he's 90% out the door reading the comments this morning because it sounds like they want him as a rider to ride the maidens.

And then if they're good enough to go and win a big race or run a big race, we'd get someone else in to ride him.

And the most ironic thing about the whole thing with David Egan, obviously the expectation you have at Royal Ascot, the amount of money they spent and whatnot, even if things didn't fully go to plan there, most of the horse were definitely not good enough.

But he actually went to France in the Grand Prix de Paris and gave the horse who was second a beautiful ride.

With a 10 out of 10 ride, Maltese Falcon, of course, would have been very unlucky.
