Now, Leopardstown tomorrow and the Curragh on Saturday.

On Sunday, easy for me to say, we have a nine-race card, which in itself I find slightly bizarre, but there's no fillers there.

We have just cracking race after cracking race.

this might be a good place to start to talk about his view about the difference between the two tracks.

Let me throw that at you.

What are you looking for at Leopardstown and what are you looking for at the Curragh in general?

Well, I think the first and most important point about the layout of the track tomorrow, Simon, is that the running rail is 24 yards out.

He wants to ride Constitution River, amongst others.

He goes in the champion stakes at 5 p.m., Leopardstown.

Now, he's 13-8 to bounce back from his Juddmont International third.

I thought he actually, at the time, I thought he was disappointing, and I've watched it back, and in hindsight, I think he ran a fair race.

Ledger, maybe a bit of a damp squib.

We'll see the Portland, obviously a great punting heat.

There is decent racing elsewhere on the undercards at Doncaster and also over in Ireland at Leopardstown.

We have got a cracking couple of days racing coming up this weekend with two days of the Irish Champions Festival from Leopardstown and the Curragh and also the final British classic of the flat season, the Betfred St.

Ledger tomorrow at Doncaster.

We're going to start, though, at Leopardstown tomorrow for their big race, the Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes, a Group 1 over 10 furlongs, and this features the first three home from the Juddmont International at York.

Constitution River, who's currently favourite, was only third that day, but the Victor item is in there at 2-1 currently, and earlier on in the week, Nick spoke to Juddmont's Barry Mahon about how he's been getting on since York.

Yeah, no, look, he's in good form.

go up to 12 and if the ground come up heavy for the arc which you know more often than not it does we wouldn't get the run there so we just felt this you know underground was nice this seemed a great place to go again and decide then after this what we want to do for the rest of the season and then as you say we also have Calpana and Sunly and Purview that are all possible for

an arc as well Now, Ascot, Deauville, Newmarket July, Blue Bolt's been brilliant.

They've really held up, stood up well, and the ground conditions seem to be pretty fair.

I think we're looking at good ground at the moment at Leopardstown, not too much in the way of rain forecasts.

So hopefully it's perfect ground conditions and looks the same at Doncaster as well for the ledger.

Yeah, it does that.

He's a horse with good runs in Group 1s.

He's got a Group 2 win to his name at this track as a juvenile.

And his Leopardstown record is just exceptional.

He's been here four times, won three of those starts.

He couldn't have been more impressive the last day in the Curragh.

But Green Dreamer is one who already has, uh, a verdict over Darkness Falls when he won his maiden in Leopardstown, and seven furlongs looked too sharp for him in the Futurity the last day when he was always on the back foot.

I think nine furlongs for him, uh, looks like it's a step in the right direction.

And a big ride for Joey Sheridan on what's sure to be a big weekend for him, as Kevin mentioned, with Dylan Browne McMonagle on the sidelines.

He's, he brings across a good two-year-old, so I, I think he's very much one to put on the shortlist for me.

At bigger prices, I thought Jesus Green was worthy of a mention.

I loved how he finished off his race at Leopardstown, uh, over a mile behind Wall Street.

Yes, he's still a maiden, but he will be a big price, and he's one of Joseph's that's only had one run.

Very good.

Let's get straight down to it, Johnny, because the racing this weekend at Leopardstown, the Curragh and Doncaster is incredible.

We have seven group one races for Irish Champions Festival.

The Irish Champions takes five o'clock is the post time.

They're saying the ground is good.

Again, your best bets, if you do put them in capital letters, it is much easier for me to, uh, to see them and, uh, and read them, uh, read them out.

So, uh, yeah, we're gonna b- have a bit of Doncaster, a bit of Leopardstown, a bit of the Curragh, and probably, well, probably something else will crop up as well as we, uh, as we go on.

I don't think they're going to go over quick with the two Aidan O'Brien so I could see Colin just jumping out and going forward and if he's caught three wide for a furlong or two he'll get in then you know that sort of way

right so if you're just saying in the Matron here if you're drawn if there are nine runners in the race what if you're riding Leopardstown like that and you're taking on two O'Brien horses and you're drawing nine Leopardstown sorry Leopardstown What could go wrong if you're drawing nine, even if it's Colin Keane?

Well, look, I suppose if you're, I don't think blue point's too keen, so you can roll forward and you can go forward and if there's nothing happening, that you can just keep coming back till you find a slot.

Your worry is if you've a horse that when you go forward and you can't get in, they grab it and they run and you're doing too much work three wide, four wide or whatever.

I suppose renewal of the horses I've ran at Epsom and the Curragh.

Now this race goes ahead of 3.35. What a weekend of hunting and racing.
