Kindness IS A Business Strategy

I love that.

Yeah, that's, you know, the Acts of Kindness, you've got a goal that you've set for this.

Yeah.

And it's pretty high bar.

You want to mention that?

It does.

So I looked at the numbers.

So the kernel of the idea came from something called 75 Heart.

This guy, Andy Frizzella, created it.

And so my original thought was, what if he created 75 Nice, and then I modified it to be 30 Acts of Kindness.

But that was the kernel of the idea.

And I did some research and he's had five million people in five years complete it.

And it's a way more onerous thing to do 75 days in a row.

You have to track 10 different things.

It's a way more difficult thing to do.

And then I saw how many people started it and finished it.

And I did some back of the envelope math and I'm like, you know, it would not be crazy for us to be able to do 10 billion acts of kindness in 10 years, more than one act of kindness for every person on earth.

And, you know, one, having a big, hairy, audacious goal tends to, you know, get people focused and excited.

And I will say this too, we're most likely going to be doing a pilot with Chick-fil-A because their mission as a company is to be the most, seen as the most caring company in the world.

And I have a dear friend of mine that's owned a Chick-fil-A franchise for 25 years.

So he knew the original Cathy family.

He knows Dan and Bubba Cathy.

And so We went to their headquarters in Atlanta and met everybody.

And so we're going to do a pilot with them.

And if that goes well, we'll see where it goes.
