Ep. 628 - Soap Party (Daytime Emmys Nominations Reaction)

I would say I feel the nominees is fascinating to me.

I have some opinions.

I have some good opinions, and all I say is some reactions from people let me know who watched what, and I'm like, I can totally see who has a gender base or who really didn't watch the soap.

And I say a lot more than what I have to say, and also I'm going to also pick up Daphne, Mrs. Ben, who is also here right now.

Mm-hmm.

Anthony? Oh, I had myself muted.

I'm here.

Welcome, welcome.

We haven't started talking about the nominations, but overall, how are you feeling?

For the first time in a while, this is a pretty good list.

I say it's a mixture of old, it's a mixture of new.

So I've got a couple of questions, a couple of eyebrows raised and going, hmm, okay.

I had to get reminded of a few things because remember, I almost keep forgetting which year we are looking at.

So I've forgotten a few things.

So I don't know.

I'm looking forward to hearing everybody's opinion.

So I'm going to do something different tonight.

Usually we do acting categories first.

because those were the first two lead actor and actress that came out.

And by the way, I think everybody is saying it too.

If you're going to do it on the day before, you might as well do the whole thing.

Because this whole, we get it, you know, you want us to tune in and get all excited and stuff like that.

But I do think if you're going to have it where everybody has to watch different shows, just, I mean, hey, it is what it is, you know.

But it's kind of like if you're going to say, hey, Tuesday the official list comes out, that means Tuesday it comes out.

Don't just give us little breadcrumbs the night before, but to each his own.
