Well, something that soap opera Jesus sent us and something I am beyond excited for is news from our friends at Daytime Confidential that the Young and the Restless diva Jess Walton is releasing a new memoir.

Kensington Publishing is set to publish The Young and the Rest of Us.

which features Walton looking back at her life in Hollywood and beyond.

She recounts with candor and gratitude the surprising path that eventually led her to sobriety, true love, and ultimately to fictional Genoa City, Wisconsin, and the role of a lifetime.

I mean, Alan, this book seems absolutely incredible.

And we've missed Jess so much on our screens as she's taken such a giant step back from The Young and the Restless since Gene Cooper passed a little over 14 years ago.

So, Alan, what are your thoughts on this? Are you going to add this memoir to your reading list?

Well, okay, let's start with the biggest industry news of the week just because it's a big deal.

We finally got the premiere date for Jamie and Dan O'Connor's writing to debut on The Young and the Restless, which will be November 11th.

So we are literally 58 days, if I'm counting right, away from the premiere of their writing.

Jade Harlow got her start in daytime in 2000 when she joined Passions as Jessica Bennett, a role she played for three years.

She later appeared on Days of Our Lives as Cheryl and spent a decade playing Liana Ramos on the digital drama, The Bay.
