And obviously we have to mention that his career is absolutely incredible and it's part of the reason why it's sad to me because I don't think that even if they go to Singapore and crash out and don't do anything at all and completely flop, it taints his career or his legacy as a player.
He's a Hall of Famer.
It's had a pretty meteoric drop since his speech at Rio.
I actually have some stats and figures to go off on this as well, so I'm not just going to be talking about this, but I'm actually going to be giving actual evidence for this.
So if we go through his events since Rio, they did Blast Rivals Spring.
So two teams you'd never expect them to lose against.
PGL Astana got knocked out in quarters to Falcons.
All right, fair enough, it's Falcons, but it wasn't quite Falcons that were in Cologne.
Then they go to Cologne, second place, fair enough.
This is a really good result.
They went 3-0 in the opening stage, or their opening stage, I should say.
But I'm just going to put a caveat on this.
Their side of the bracket was not like the other one.
They beat 9Z, who completely exceeded all expectations to get in there in the first place, and then crumbled in the playoffs.
And Aurora, who are like perpetual chokers at this point in playoffs.
So you made the finals, you got knocked out 0-3, but still a good result.
Then Blast Bounty Summer Closed Qualifier, they finished dead last position, 17th to 32, after losing to Den Delay.
