People I do think are slightly overreacting or just on this poly market because I think their logic goes.

Because Na'Vi's just been irrelevant in the last few tournaments, and then obviously this news came out from the VRS experts, it's not impossible they can fail to make the major now.

They're actually in one of those spots where if you really fuck up the next event or two, you'll be in a really bad condition.

Because think about it, if you know how points decay works, all those great placings from season one, most of those are going to be irrelevant very soon.

They're all going to be dropping away.

You have to think of it.

If people don't know how VRS works, you actually really need to learn how tennis works, because tennis has a very similar system with their points system.

where basically, I mean, they do like a 12-year rolling calendar, but the idea is you can actually have a scenario where you didn't do badly at a tournament, but you lose loads of points because the idea is last year at that tournament, maybe you won that tournament.

We're not going to be one of the big blast of PGL tournaments, but we can make a fun format that will make it interesting to watch.

And maybe we can get one or two or three good teams here by making it VRS attractive for those teams to enter.

So I think he has a good point, but I think it's going to be hard to see the prestige events do it because it will also, the wins that the teams will be getting there will lose legitimacy.

Yeah, that was a nice, but yeah, you get the point.

I mean, it's tough to say because I don't know what the I think what dictates so much of this is VRS.

And I just don't even know if it's almost like would Valve allow it to happen, which I feel like is the where this kind of falls apart.

Because if I would like to see more, I we had a little fan question, I think on a behind a paywall of charges only mode coming back into play.

And I would love to see the top teams play that, but I don't even think they would be incentivized to play a tournament like that because I don't think VRS would even give you any invites.

That's, to me, that's like a full reset on what Mongolz is and what they look like.

They're 23rd in the VRS right now.

Um, and it's just a shame because whatever happened all this time ago, right, where things went wrong with Senzu and the fallout of this team happened, that obviously had a knock-on effect to m0NESYnio, who's good friends with him.

Like, this is a slippery slope of things that went wrong, and I'm not gonna call out and say, like, the organization is bad.

it is, it is a worrying sign to see them go out in last place when you look at this.

Look at the teams here, and you would for sure put FaZe going to playoffs, for sure.

And they were just starting to recover a bit on their VRS.

They were just starting to recover and look a lot better as well.

Generally, I like a lot of things about FaZe, but I'll tell you what the ugly thing is.

Because they came last place at this tournament, where, by the way, they could have picked up a lot of easy land wins, hopefully, for the VRS.

If people don't know, they now actually are at risk of having a VRS disaster and not making this next major.

Where surely the one thing, look, to me, I already have accepted as soon as Kerrigan left, and especially when they didn't sign any big names.

I mean, even the other good players that went to other teams.

Right.

Because I think it was the beginning of twenty twenty five.

And their accomplishments were to make it from zero VRS, practically speaking, to make it to a major, which I would say that that is an accomplishment.

We also had two guys leave, two good firefighters, two good paramedics, to go to a career EMS agency.

Because they're doing a 24-72 and because they are in VRS, which is our retirement system, Virginia Retirement System, as well as hazardous duty pay.

So their benefits and their pension don't change a bit.

So they are going to make probably the same salary because of their credentials and how long they've been paramedics.

Think about that when you pick up that next overtime, you son of a bitch.

Brother, my wife and I are already having this conversation because I'm almost 20 years in VRS at this point.

I'm knocking on the door of two weeks and a bad fucking day.
