The Raiders Have a GOLDEN Opportunity Against the Rams... Here's Why

Okay, first and foremost, Tonka Hemingway is back.

He's out of the concussion protocol, was back at practice.

No more rocking the non-contact jersey.

You have to love that if you're a fan of the Raiders.

We'll get to more of why that is later on here in the show.

But Tonka has been a steady force for them.

I think he is hopefully...

It's going to be faring pretty well, and then when he comes back, weak off, all that stuff.

I know it was a concussion and everything, but that's a dude that has taken a big leap from year one to year two.

He's been a big part of them on the interior, and he'll take some of the heat off of both Fuller-Onto-Fatukasi and Adam Butler really having to do a lot more in there.

He's a versatile piece.

I think he's big for them to come back, especially in this game.

Again, we'll get into why that is later on in the show.

Also, Mike Washington Jr., this one, very interesting.

He didn't practice.

He is going to be questionable with foot and back injuries, and Clint gets a little touchy with some stuff.

He wouldn't really dive too much into it, but the way he's talking, it sounds like they expect him to play.

He said that we're expecting him to be ready.

Wouldn't get into whether or not he's going to be worked out pregame, all that different stuff.

An interesting back and forth there with that, but It sounds like today was one of those days where like, hey, take the day off, kid.

We'll make sure you're good to go on Sunday.

Obviously, that would be big as Ashton and this rushing attack has struggled to get going.

And Mike Washington has been the only one that's really been able to generate explosives with some sort of consistency, at least when you factor in that he hasn't gotten a ton of looks and the number of explosive runs that he has had.

So keep that in mind, and let's see how he does now as a rookie learning how to play banged up in the NFL.
