I think my type A-ness that came from that, like having to learn how to like study and Just the grit that comes with being a nurse.

I think that really helped me and translated into my business once I started building it because I am the kind of person where it's like when I'm going in on something, I kind of am going all in.

So even though I had no plan on going full time in those like three months after I really started pursuing it.

I think some of the biggest things was really learning from business books, business podcasts, actually not specific to photography really.

I honestly don't even remember when I realized podcasts were a thing because that's nothing I ever did in my nursing and pre-business life.

But yeah, I remember one of the very first books that I read was Building a Story Brand by Donald Miller.

I can't remember a lot of it now, but I know like even, you know, as coaches, you understand this, like nothing is like totally unique to us and like totally ours.

But I think what's so cool is being able to take what you learn from other like leaders in the business world and translating that into a photography business.

And honestly, like I think I really just built a brand which I know that's one of your pillars from chatting with you a bit of like building the brand getting so good at my work I actually remember I did invest actually not in like business coaching but more so photography like how do I look for light and how do I actually like you know manually shoot on my camera like things like that at the very beginning right and just practicing like getting out there and doing it and showing people that process and showing my personality through it and talking to my room of 100 followers on Instagram as if I had 10 million, you know, like those are the kind of things I think if I had to really think back and like connect with that version of myself, it was like just honestly getting started and like taking the steps and seeing just what happened, having the mindset of like, we'll see what happens.

And I noticed in my business when I started really showing the story of what I do and what I care about and just kind of getting, getting a little comfortable with, sharing things that are that mean something to me that's when more people started reaching out to me and saying I want you specifically to be there and you mentioned like getting better and practicing and doing it like the same time that you're building this idea of who your brand is you're also working on your work, your work has to match.

You know, you can't really like be consistently charging 10,000 and above for photos anywhere really in the United States without being really good at understanding composition, lighting, framing.

But I've seen a lot of people that are really good at that, but they're not any good at all at telling their story or showing the couples what they would experience with you on the wedding day or whatever.

And so did that that is kind of are you saying you pushed a little bit more of that out into the world? Is that with social media? Like you said, you had your followers.

A lot of people, I think, don't realize that it's like a key thing you said there was like you you did it like you had a million followers when you only had 100.

You treated it as if it was where you were going and you started taking steps towards that before it was there.
