Hitting Cleanup

So how are you feeling about this season overall? What are you, what are your thoughts on it?

Um, I, h- uh, I s- I'm sure a lot of people listened to that interview with the owner, um, where he's like, "You know-"

Oh, yeah

... "our focus is still on winning," and I think he said winning, like, 15 times.

Mm-hmm.

And I, I think we had really high highs and we had really low lows, and I think everybody seemed off their game this season.

Yeah.

All of our all reliable players that we kind of bank on to play well and support the team were not hot this year at all.

And I mean, I feel like, I think I feel like Naylor is kind of one of the bigger disappointments this season-

Mm-hmm

... because we had such a good time with him last season, and then I feel like, I feel like he kinda just, like, phoned it in.

I don't know if that's actually what happened, but it just feels like there wasn't any gumption-

Yeah

... on playing well.

It, it feels like the team as a whole had, like, a hangover from last season, you know?

Yeah.

Like-

Or, like, they felt like it was gonna be easy to get back to where they were because they already had done it once.

Yeah.

You know?

I think they were tired, to be honest, because-

Yeah

...

if you think about it, like, you know, most of those guys played, you know, uh, the whole season last year.

They went on a deep playoff run this year.
