This also brings together a whole bunch of basically like all the major cable channels you might have once watched.

Maybe some of you still do MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, TBS, TNT, Food Network, Discovery, CNN, So on and so forth.

And one of the arguments is like, well, you know, a lot of these things have to fold.

As a reminder, this merger not only puts two legacy movie and TV studios together, but also multiple news outlets, streaming platforms, and cable networks.

Think HBO, CNN, TNT, TBS, and Food Network, along with CBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon.

The states had argued the merger could mean less competition and fewer choices for people watching movies and TV.

But under the settlement, Paramount agreed to invest at least $300 million more each year in American film production and release at least 30 movies in theaters each year for the first few years.

It really is.

Have you flipped through your channels though and have you found yourself slower through, like, TNT and TBS? You're like, "Oh, hold on."

So my point is, MLW now just inked a deal with Tubi, and they are back.

And when I say back, it's because five years ago, MLW was supposed to be on Tubi.

With CNN and CBS now coming together under the same corporate umbrella, The settlement mandates that independent editorial boards will keep both news operations insulated.

And for the next five years, for the next five years, they have to negotiate basic cable carriages deals for Paramount and Warner Brothers separately to avoid price gouging, and they're required to keep an ad-free, an ad-supported tier like Pluto TV.

So basically, you know, TNT and TBS will still be around.

You know, so it's not like those networks are going to close down and they're going to be rebranded onto something brand new.

And that was a really good show.

It just was a little too quirky for TBS and TBS was sort of in its trying to figure out what it was doing.

Yeah.

And basically dying.

This movie did not do well enough where I could find a good trailer.

That was like a TBS poll that I used for that.

Does TV even exist? Did this get a theatrical release?

I have no idea.

I mean, the reality is, Are sports going to shift from some of the – they have UFC rights.

Are you going to see UFC now on TBS or TNT? I mean there are so many questions in terms of how they reconfigure this.

And we're assuming they keep all of these assets.

I mean it also seems like there's assets that are probably unnecessary that they don't need when they combine everything.
