We're now in the third week of our sermon series in Philippians called His Story, My Story, Our Story.

And our goal for this sermon series is to illuminate, it's to make sense of our lives, our stories in light of God's story.

Even before creation came into existence, we have the preexistent triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and then he creates us.

And so you see this, for example, with Adam and Eve in the garden, who decide to write their own stories.

He talks about how there's this, this, uh, U-shaped trajectory of God being-- Jesus being in heaven from before creation, coming down into our mess, redeeming us and taking us back to be up with Him again.
