You know, when you think about that moment, I can't imagine seeing the look of your child looking up at you.

And just a word, you hadn't even said the word, but in my mind, I'm thinking, daddy? That's kind of the expression.

Out of scare, you know? And so when you think about that moment, right? I mean, I get chills just even talking about it, just because children mean so much to me.

And I'm thinking, did parenting ever make you grieve your own childhood differently? Yeah.

It did, because some of the things that happened to me as a child, I look at Mike at that time.

And I'm like, how can anyone... harm such precious things, you know? I could never even imagine doing anything like what was done to me to them.

And it took him a lot longer to forgive me for what I put them through emotionally.

emotional, physical, what have you, what you're putting your family through, whether it's on purpose or not, it affects them.

And it's just such a selfish and narcissistic disease that it's often the family that gets put off to the side and we forget about them.

And I commend those in your audience that are sitting on the sidelines waiting for that loved one to get themselves together.
