Episode 8 - June 2026 Physical Media Report with Shane Hoffmann

So let's get stuck into some talking points because it has been about five or six weeks actually since our last show 'cause as I said, we went early last time and we're back to our normal second Wednesday of the month slot right now.

But during that month we had our BogOff sale.

Um, it was a big one and I'll talk about what I had arrive, what I picked up in that BogOff sale.

Actually, I won't go over it too much.

What I will do is direct people to the, uh, Instagram page, curbside_screentime's, uh, Instagram page where I put up four videos of what I had arrive, um, through BogOff and, um, I've had out some other stuff arrive through the month obviously as well.

Um, yeah, what did you...

You didn't do, you didn't really BogOff this year, did you? You, you decided to do Mega Syndrome instead.

I, I did not BogOff at all.

Um, I had a look.

Uh, there was some pretty good stuff in there.

Mm.

Um, and a little bit tempting, but I was like, "No, no, I'm saving, uh, my little pennies for the, the VS-

Mm

... um, blowout." So, which was pretty damn good, which I'll chat about when we get into it.

But, um-

We, yeah

I, I did see you had a lot of fun in BogOff.

I did have a lot of fun and to be honest, uh, [laughs] on that, I actually did have a pre-planned list of what I, maybe not, maybe, yeah, what I wanted to get.

So I did have a list and I all sorted by their price point so you get the ma- maximum value for money.

And there's, there's a lot that I didn't grab and there was a lot that I did grab that wasn't on that list as well.

So, um, it was just, it's kind of how BogOff works.

You buy one thing and then you go, "I have to get something else that matches that," and you kind of pick up something that you're half interested in, um, just to get the bargain I think.

Um, but you know, sometimes that's a win, sometimes that's a loss.

That's, that's how you, that's how you roll when you play this game.
