During this time of doing the last seven weeks, eight weeks of that Life in the Spirit seminar, the significant thing that happened for me was my eyes opened to the need of community, that we're all empowered to be brothers and sisters to one another in every church.

But here's where we are, and how do we do that? You know, we've got lots to get through in learning how to love beyond the means.

Without being codependent, we want to be in a real loving relationship where the Lord, we see the Father, we see Jesus, we see the Holy Spirit doing things, and we walk into that with him because we're in this economy of the Trinity.

It's an amazing, wild space, isn't it? We have to put up with so much of our own changing to get there.

And in a sense, that's why the teachers came out today to pray for students, because they have compassion.

They know how it is to slow down and be patient and come alongside and be a companion.

And so they're able to come before and just pray with them and steady their notes and help them.

Last time we got to share up the front, I spoke about the black fire and the white fire, and how in the first five books of the scriptures, the people were being taught, do this sort of ritual to the real God, and the fire of God's love will lead you.

and we know the fire in the night and the cloud in the day led the people away from pharaoh into the promised land and that's what black fire is the black fire is they were doing the rituals and the white fire is the purity of god leading them to come amongst them and there's a pattern in god's ways he did that for a purpose he did it as a teaching pedagogy as a pedagogical theology a teaching practice of ritual.

Because those people to the left and the right of them were doing pagan worship.

Now the Lord said, I'll give you some practices, but you do it for the right reasons.

And all along the way, he was preparing the Holy of Holies so that we could actually enter into the one where the royal priest came and really did lay down his life as the Paschal Lamb.

How amazing is that? When you look at the story and you look at it really as an atheist, you must go like, this book's only just been put together the last 10 years.

It just all fits, piece after piece has come together to give us the borderlines, and yet we fall out of them.

So today I want to sort of get to the point where talking about the red-lettered words of the scripture.

The words that Jesus said, the life that he led, so that we can enter into the red letters.
