So just a reminder of how the Europa League table looks after matchday 3, Celtic are 2nd bottom, the only team below us in that table is Arat Armenia, 3 losses out of 3 with a negative 6 goal difference, now one of only 4 sides to not have a single point in the competition, I mean there's teams above us in that league table like Jagiellonia who knocked Rangers out of the competition, the likes of Torrents, a second division Portuguese side, Sturm Graz who last year we gave quite a doing and a few other teams that traditionally speaking you would not picture above Celtic in a European league table but that's where we are now and this season we have become the European whipping boys.

Now I don't want to repeat everything I said in my video last night but truth be told, my opinions haven't changed I'm still feeling as down about it as I was in the instant match reaction video I'm just done in and continuously embarrassed by our efforts in European football where we've led to be and look I think there's a number of different avenues you can put the blame.

I scrolled through my comments section this morning to see what folk were saying because it's always, after games, after results like last night, it's always a contentious place, there's always people that agree and certainly people who disagree.

I would say now though, as we get a little bit deeper into the season, most of us are in the same boat, by far and away most people agreed with me in the comments section last night but there's still people who say that my criticisms lie in the wrong place or that I'm backtracking on things that I might have said in the past.

Let me make this clear and I know that sometimes in other videos I need to talk about things in a slightly different vein I have been critical of Celtic, the way that we've operated to begin this season, from pretty much the offset, from the length of time it took us to appoint a manager, to the length of time it took us to give him his coaching staff, to the length of time it took us to make, you know, a third or fourth permanent signing, through our disastrous panic loans, I've been pretty much consistent with my views on the season, I've just tried to remain optimistic when we've been given a good result, but, you know, last night, I think the most contentious part of it all is finding who to blame because you criticise the manager, you get some fans that tell you, it's not his fault he's been hung out to dry, you criticise the board, people tell you you can't just keep blaming the board, then you criticise certain players and apparently you're not allowed to do that.

I think that everybody has to hold their hands up and say that they're not doing the job to the best of their abilities.

And, you know, we're suffering in every department right now, on and off the pitch.

simple as that and I don't know how many times I have to utter these words but that's with respect to Martin O'Neill with admiration for Martin O'Neill but I think his time has come and gone the players some of them who shouldn't wear Celtic shirts anyway and that's not their fault that they're here at the club or that we haven't recruited well enough but some of their performances deserve to be questioned the captain who a lot of people think I didn't go on hard enough last night hasn't been good enough and that's leading from the top you know he is the head of the squad he's not been good enough, that's obviously trickled down to the rest of the team, players haven't been good enough either, they deserve a share of the blame and then of course the board who deserve to take the brunt of it, who hold most weight when it comes to this conversation, you know they've neglected the club to the point where these are the conversations we have had a managed decline which is now seeing us unable to win a European game at Celtic Park, that's where we are, so I don't think anybody's innocent, as I say I don't want to repeat everything that I said last night but the club is toxic right now, it's rotten from top to bottom and without a complete culture change at the very top, I struggle to see how it gets better but one step that I think we need to explore and start thinking about is sadly in the coaching department because the team aren't playing very well they have now lost six games by October four European games in the bounce I fear that's the kind of form that would get any other manager sacked Martin O'Neill has won I think technically speaking one loss away from tying the record of Wilfred Nancy the form that got him sacked so the conversations you know the trumpets are getting louder the conversations aren't going away We were hoping to come back from the international break and kick on and domestically, yeah we've done that, we've won two of two.

So look, it's horrible and typically when you have these sorts of conversations it does cause a rameh and people cannae agree and it's whatever it is but we've been led down this path and I feel there's no way back.
