Ryan StevenHostJackGuesthe's essentially subtly saying we're not being given the right tactics or we're not given any tactics

it kind of reinforces the point like this is what I kind of sound like a broken record here but us as fans have been saying we look lost that there's an air of cluelessness around the place the players obviously kind of come out and go the manager's clueless we have no idea what's going on they have to be very diplomatic and professional about it to me that's what this reads to me that's him saying this is not what was Cameron Carter-Vickers exact words again following the derby
he said it was Lorenzo what did he say again
he said it was random and then he went ach it all works out in the end which is kind of like what my mum says when she's making dinner on Christmas day that'll be fine that'll be fine and it's usually when

the turkey's black it's usually okay yeah she does well she does her best good on her I just think that it's really telling the players reactions at the minute and I just cannae understand why some people cannae see it So again, you can watch that full podcast over on the Cynics YouTube channel now, we have a lot of conversations about this and of course Celtic's current predicament in general, but yeah, not good, it's now a second senior player who has basically, and let's not beat around the bush here, basically come out and said...

this is a bit of a mess, Cameron Carter-Vickers came out and called everything random following her defeat to Rangers at Celtic Park and now Callum McGregor's talking about the fact that we're getting away with it and not having tactical profiles nailed down and all of that off the back of her performances is worrying, that's your captain and your vice captain as I pointed out on the cynic and that is concerning, we should not have to be, I'm just looking at the quotes here again, we should not have to be getting away with it, scoring goals to get away with it in October when there is still 27, 28 games to play in the league, there are still 80 odd points up for grabs, if that is the mantra of what we're doing, I'm deeply concerned about our way forward and as I said earlier in the video and I'll make this point clear one more time, us as fans by a certain portion have been called negative or you know something along those lines that we're entitled crying for the sake of it, this is actual play, this is the captain of the club, by the way a captain of the club who hasn't been good enough and has to accept that he's letting the team down at the minute as well, but that's a completely different conversation.

So us as fans, we're vindicated in our concerns, vindicated in our criticisms because the players, our two most senior players know exactly what's going on.

And not only that, the manager agrees! Speaking at the press conference, the quotes that came out today, Martin O'Neill said, I'm in total agreement with Callum, we'll sort it out.

but we're doing fine, you know, that strikes me as, how are you doing? I'm fine, it's not fine, things aren't fine, in fact, things are so far from fine that we should be panicking and, you know, he's agreeing with Callum McGregor on basically everything he said, he does expand on all of that, there is more to what Martin O'Neill says, of course, this is kind of focusing primarily on the whole situation with strikers playing on the wings, he said he totally agrees that Callum Osmond is really a centre-forward, he'll probably play off somebody strong alongside him, I'm not so sure he could lead the line on his own, and Camillo Duran is really a centre forward, so the players are getting to know each other, it's as really simple as that, so I'm in total agreement with Callum, but all of these things just add to like, and I get it, we're thin on options at times, Yang has been injured, Jota's only just back, Tanekti's not good enough, Hassan has been wishy-washy, but like, the bottom line for me is, all of this is just worrying and that's been my general point all along and I just fear that we don't find our way out of this mess that we're in, I don't have a lot of faith in the current coaching staff and this current group of players to sort it out at this stage of the season.

I don't think we can rely on good luck and 90th minute goals and things like that, these are the sorts of things, and this is where I'll paint it very clear for those who are still in disagreement with me and still think I'm just moaning for the sake of it, if these were the sorts of things that Derek McInnes was coming out and saying, that James Tavernier would have been coming out and saying, or if any Rangers supporter was getting up in arms about, we'd be laughing about it.

Somehow, someway, we're still top of the league right now and you could say that's through a bit of luck because we lost to Rangers.

but if this was the shoe on the other foot we would be laughing at them and for me that's just the honest truth of it all.

So I am worried, I am concerned and the fact now that Callum McGregor has came out and basically added to what Cameron Carter-Vicar said back in, what was it, September now, I'm worried about the progress that we're making behind the scenes and I don't think that there's been an awful lot made in that space of time through that international break and now as we approach the next international break.

what faith is there to have that it's going to be different by the time we're back from this one? I don't know, call me sceptical, call me a cynic, call me as negative as you like, I try and read the game on optics and the optics aren't good, every trend is pointing downwards, there is nothing on the pitch happening right now that I can see is improving, The goalkeeping situation is a complete mess, the defence seems to be getting worse, we're leaking goals every week, the midfield is non-existent and we cannot figure out our forward line for the sake of it, there is no redeeming factors right now, so when I say I base the game off optics, yeah, every single one of them points in the opposite direction from progression.

So yeah, listen, I'm just a bit concerned of where we are as a group, I don't think there's an awful lot of harmony within this Celtic side either, you know, the fact that we have got our vice captain and our captain now speaking out about, you know, the problems, and like we want, I would rather have them own up to the problems, but that can, you can also take concern from it, and like when you watch them play football it doesn't feel like there's the same togetherness that there's been in Celtic sides of recent memory, I don't know, there's just a really weird feeling hanging over the place and I know us as supporters are hardly helping that with how negative we're being, the likes of me and just general fans, day to day fans, but when you're not being fed enough to be positive, what else are you meant to do? As I said earlier and I'll say it one more time, I can't fake positivity.
