The Sleeper and the Bust Episode: 1531 – Week 22 FAAB

Uh, but first, let's get to some news and notes.

Uh, Yoshida is heading to the IL with a hamstring injury.

Um, we still have Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Roman Anthony, Trevor Story all heading out on rehab assignments.

Uh, what does this do to the Boston lineup, and how are you attacking it?

Well, uh, uh, it looks like Anthony Siegler's coming back up.

I believe he was the recall, but the, uh, Yoshida came up lenth- came up lame going into second on, on a double yesterday.

He was pulled, and it looks like Siegler's been recalled, and he's actually straight into the lineup today playing second base and hitting eighth, uh, with the situation.

So it is a matter of...

You know, I, I'm not really doing anything the lineup wise.

I'm not seeing what they're going to...

Actually, no, I take that back.

Siegler's still been up.

They still have not officially put Yoshida on the IL, but he's going on the IL-

Yeah

... uh, with this situation.

And I don't know, I guess maybe they bring back Romy Gonzalez just for a right-handed bat off the bench and some utility or possibly Nate Eaton, cer- for some flexibility.

But they already have Jamai Jones and Eli White running around, uh, for that kind of purpose as well.

So I could see this potentially being Romy Gonzalez, uh, just looking at what's on the option.

But then you look at what's gonna happen at the top of the lineup, 'cause that's where Yoshida's been hitting.

Uh, he's hit first or second every game.

Even though he's been DH-ing, he's still been hitting first or second.

So who go, who goes to hit lead off now? Is it Nick Sogard going back up there as it was, as, as it is today? So it looks like-

Okay

...

he may be hitting lead off, uh, now.
