Roaring Repeater Podcast -- Who Takes First Battle of the Basins?

The Wyoming Cowboys, in my opinion, might have found their identity a little bit in a big 27-10 win over the visiting Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.

I wrote a story yesterday, and I don't know if you've had a chance to check it out yet, Jared, but...

I spoke to a Hawaii coach pregame, and we talked for probably a good 15, 20 minutes.

And I said, what did you think when you saw this offense on film? And he said, they're just not physical anymore.

They're not the Wyoming team you're used to where you go head to head, you bash head to head, and it's just the biggest, the toughest win.

And you pick up three yards in a cloud of dust, the old Craig Bull spit the bit kind of offense.

And that's not what Christian Taylor brought, but it's also, I mean, can you degrade anybody worse than saying you're not physical anymore? And Jay Savelle, I brought it up to him at the press conference, and he said, why don't you call him now and see what they think?

You mean you didn't go right over to Jay after you talked to him and said, hey,

he just said this.

Nope, nope, nope.

No, I thought really the offensive line was super impressive.

You can tell Toad Harris is healthy again.

Markel Holman, just such a nice combo punch there out of the backfield for the Cowboys.

It looked right again.

Yeah, and there was a lot of hurries on Hughes, but there weren't any sacks per se.

And he didn't take the big hits that he did.

And when he took the hits, he was 10 yards down the field.

Yeah, exactly.

And what did we say? That you can't turn the freaking ball over.

They didn't turn the ball over.

He did fumble one time on a hit 10 to 15 yards down the field.

He reminds me, and I hate bringing this up, Josh Allen a little

bit.

He just has the ball out there flailing around.

He's like, tuck that thing away and put two hands on it.
