Christian Taylor

And they were saying it in the media for two straight weeks.

Should there be a new quarterback? And Christian Taylor was straight up saying, absolutely not.

Yep.

Not happening.

But It's just getting better and better from Tyler Hughes every week.

And something that stuck out to me, we're not supposed to report a lot on what we saw at practice yesterday, but what stuck out to me is right off the bat, this is our first practice since the Air Force game.

And Christian Taylor, who's about the most mild-mannered cat on the planet, he actually came up and shook our hands and said, sorry we couldn't talk on Monday because the coaches were out recruiting.

He's telling them, get your shit together.

So I would expect them to go out and get another transfer portal guy like Tyler Hughes.

Again, going back to, the money situation but it's also and that's not to say like you're going out and getting a starting quarterback but you're going out and getting a guy to at least compete for the job like Tyler Hughes did and see where Landon Sims is or Mason Drew is if they come back where their development is at and if you're confident and Their ability to run Christian Taylor's offense.

And, you know, that's I don't think it's ever too early to start looking at that.

But that would be, you know, my guess right now is you're not going to rest on your laurels at all, regardless of how the season ends.

And

is this maybe his – I guess you can say coming out party, but maybe Coach Taylor's been holding him back a little bit.

Didn't want him to run as much, but now he's in a rhythm running two games in a row.

Maybe that's what he's wanted to do the whole time.

So it's a win now.

It's a what have you done for me lately? No doubt about it.

DT, do you think Christian Taylor has figured this team out and will be able to have another nice game plan? Or will he Jay Johnson us like what happened after the New Mexico shootout in 24? I mean, I don't think he's going to Jay Johnson anything, but I think Air Force has a say in this.

You know what I mean? I can't even answer this question.
