But as we come to the end of this series on Titus, the letter that Paul wrote to him, we're going to be focusing on the final four verses written to Titus, along with a kind of a summary overview of what this whole letter has been about this whole time.

Now, at the start of this month, if you were here at the beginning of August, Sarah set a challenge for all of us, which was this book, this letter.

It's only three chapters long, and she said, who can go away and read the whole thing from start to finish? It shouldn't take too long.

Did anyone take that challenge on? Did anyone go and read it? Yeah, Hillary did.

You might have noticed, even if you've been kind of dipping in and out over this month, you might have noticed that Paul starts this letter with a blessing of grace, and he finishes this letter with a blessing of grace.

This is not special because in every single one of Paul's letters to churches in the New Testament that we have, all 13 of his letters, he starts and finishes them the exact same way with a blessing of grace.

But why grace? What's so special about grace? Why is Paul obsessed with grace? What even is grace? Well, grace is God's free gift of love for us that we didn't have to work for or earn.

In Ephesians 2.8 it says, For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith.

Now maybe Paul mentions grace so much because it's the grace of Jesus that completely transformed Paul's life.
