Basically, with the collective bargaining agreement, we don't know when or if baseball will be played in 2027, but the Cincinnati Reds are getting ahead of it.

This week, the Reds ownership, Phil Castellini, the controlling owner of the Cincinnati Reds, met with the media along with Brad Mador, Reds general manager and president of baseball, vice president of baseball operations, Nick Kroll.

This is what was said that the, uh, is this the same group that promised this in 2006 when they took over the famous letter, everybody remembers.

Um, he said that, that they've heard the fans, that, um, fans have been telling him and, you know, everyone's been saying that the ownership needs to sell the team.

Uh, they hear the fans, uh, I think it's funny that Phil Castellini was famously asking the fans on TV.

He asked, where are you going to go? But he let everybody know where they're going to be.

They feel like they have unfinished business and that they want to get to that promised land.

It was a really interesting amount of information that came out of this meeting with the media.

They brought up some things that may have caused the season to not reach the levels that they had hoped and some reasons why they think that they may have a viable chance of achieving championship baseball.

So Phil said that this is the goal for every team and that obviously this season the outcome was not where they wanted it to be.

His exact words were that it wasn't good enough, not for the fans or for sponsors or for their partners or for the owners.
