The people who watch this video probably 10, 20 years down the line and be like, when they say apartheid, what are you talking about? And the people who are born post-apartheid, so they won't understand.
segregation um was in effect from 1948 right so she was absolutely slap bang born slap bang in the middle of apartheid and she was the last born in her family and it's interesting that the last born happened to be such a she grew up to be such a little rebellious girl but uh in in in the 60s We also had anti-apartheid movements.

It was a system that segregated the majority black population in South Africa.
