In some ways, the garden was the real museum.

We had Yvonne Chaka Chaka singing in the garden to this incredibly gathered crowd inaugurating a giant mural which we had commissioned of her face, you know.

[laughs] In fact, we removed a, a mural of Jan van Riebeeck to put Yvonne Chaka Chaka there.

I mean, I could go on and on, but I can hear what you're saying and, and I read sort of through the lines saying artists are tired of they don't want like the Irish model of, of being kind of, "Here you go, poor artist.

Here's a little bit of money to survive on." 'Cause it's never enough anyway, so where's the pride in that? They, like everyone, are part of a community.

Obviously, we know that she had a relationship with Yvonne Chaka Chaka.

If I'm not mistaken, Yvonne Chaka Chaka was one of her bridesmaids when she then later got married.

But it's interesting because in one of her interviews, Brenda, and this is what she's also known for, she says Yvonne Chaka Chaka can't sing.

This is a rebellious person.

There was no, you know, relying on the fact that you have a friendship with her or that, you know, she was honest and unfortunately it could come across as crass, but that's who she was.

Wow.

And that's very interesting.

So obviously we know that she had a relationship with Yvonne Chaka Chaka.
