I think when we last spoke, were you at acquisition already? Yeah, yeah.

Right?

It was Rise last year.

Yep.

But now you've moved into the CEO and more ops role-ish?

Yeah.

CEO is kind of everything, right? Yeah.

When you're the CEO of a business, everything is your job, right? And so I spend all my time thinking about what the key priorities of business are today and where we're going to go for the future.

How do you feel like that has changed or like what's, you know, being like the growth guy for so long? And obviously like there's still so much growth in your role, but like now it's like everything and like it's not just growth.

How do you think, what do you have to like unlearn for that?

Yeah, there are three things.

As you take on new roles, you have to figure out what part of your natural tendencies and your experience you want to bring to the table, right? And saying, hey, I've got a backpack, right? And what am I going to put in this backpack to take with me to my next role? I can't take everything with me.

What can I actually take with me to my next role? The hard part for most people is that happens in their lives as well, right? From a chapter perspective, growth will never change.

Like the job of every business is to do what? Is to grow.

So growth will never change.

But in my role now, I have more support, more resources.

So when I have an idea, I can normally, it is, hey, I have an idea.

I'm going to go do the idea.

Now it is, I have an idea.

Who can help me do this idea? We're doing it.

Who's in? And the very fact of if I do what I'm thinking, then I'm being irresponsible for the business.

And that's very hard because I'm like, oh, I have this idea.

I can just build the app.

I can just do the video.

I can just create the plan.
