Again, we don't know what the Fed's decision is going to be, but it's about 89% right now in the futures market that they're going to raise rates.

I mean, we just need to we need to jack them up and let things break because things are breaking right now.

It feels like and they're breaking due to I think things still being too loose, i.e. rates being too low.

Therefore, the cost, the barrier to entry of making financial decisions because it's cheaper to do that than it should be.

You know, all indicators in the market are screaming for higher rates, in my opinion.

But keeping them suppressed like this as they are obviously doing not like speculation, they're announcing that they're doing this is is, I think, short term.

When Besson announced that they're going to double the rates of their buybacks of the long end, i.e. off-the-run bonds, bonds that are thinly traded, right? Now, the initial treasury issuance, when treasury issues bonds every week, they send out a certain amount of bonds to the market and they sell them at auction, right? We covered the mechanics of that in the last few weeks.

Um, but once those bonds are out in the market, then they get traded on the secondary market.

So companies that are holding these hard to sell bonds are, are kind of stuck with them.

And so basically he's buying these off the run bonds that are, that are thin liquidity, hard to sell just to basically trim off some of that, some of that longterm debt.

If you recall, that's what sent Bitcoin spiking and a lot of other assets spiking because they're basically saying, okay, the Treasury is here to save us, right? And so that was the announcement from Besson that the Treasury is going to be doing that.

And again, we're talking about that in light of an enormous, many trillion dollar deficit.

So it was a drop in the bucket, but it was more the signal that that gave the economy, that that gave the market, as to the direction they were going to go.
