Now, I know there are a lot of people who are fans of Arthur Conan Doyle, who you'll find is trying to explore all kinds of mysteries.
But there's nothing mystic about what we're doing.
And I want to tell everybody who comes to this place that you won't have any part with us if you have anything to do with spiritualism.
We denounce it as being of the devil, and we don't want fellowship with you.
If you want to join up darkness with the light, the devil will get you in the end.
So what's the difference between the spirit that now works, the spirit of disobedience, and the spirit of lawlessness? It's all antichrist, and it's right in the middle of things like spiritism, Russellism, Christian science, and the rest.
They're all alike.
They have no room for the blood.
It's impossible any other way.
The blood is the only power that can make a clear road into the kingdom for you.
Beloved, you have to be in a position to try the spirits, to test them, to see if they're of God.
Why should we test them? You can always test the spirit so you'll be able to distinguish true revelation.
The true revelation that will come to you will always sanctify the heart, and it will never have an if in it.
The Holy Ghost never comes with an if.
The Holy Ghost is the skilled divine orator of this wonderful word.
But the mystical spiritist position is of darkness.
Let me tell you a story.
One day I was walking on the street in Bradford, and I met one of my friends who was a man who lived in the spirit.
I said to him, friend, where are you going? He replied, I have something big tonight.
What is it? Oh, there's a spiritualistic seance tonight, and I'm going.
Don't you think it's dangerous? I don't think it's wise for believers to go to these places, I said.
