Pastor Jeff Schreve here, joined by Bert Harper, and it is the last day of, uh, Fall Share-A-Thon 2026, as we, uh, encourage our listeners to join with us and, uh, to give and to pray and to lock arms as we endeavor to speak to the culture and, uh, be salt and light as we share the truth of God's word and the stands that we need to take as Christians in a, uh, dark and dying world.
Uh, I don't know how many Share-A-Thons we've done together, but your first year when you started doing-
this program, they said, "Hey, Bert, how about being on with Jeff?" And it stuck, brother.
So, uh, it's, it's always a joy to be with you and, uh, encourage our listeners to share in the partnership with American Family Radio.
And, uh, you know, when you think about that verse, Bert, uh, 1 Corinthians 16, our theme verse, "Be on your guard," uh, that means to be alert, be watching, know what's going on, and then stand firm in the faith.
We speak the truth to people, not because we wanna be mean to people, not because we hate people.
We want people to, uh, come out of the darkness and come to Jesus while there's still time.
It says be, "Be courageous, be strong and do everything in love." And, and Jeff, when, when I think of this, I can't help but think of the Bible, uh, individuals throughout the Bible that were strong and courageous.
