Jaguars got their first win.

They're 1-2, and they play in a really good, Louisiana Christian team from Pineville who's 3-0 and that three wins includes a win over Northwestern State's Demons who are pretty much going to struggle this year.

I was in Pineville, Louisiana, smack dab in the middle of the state.

And I lived about a quarter of a mile away from where the original LSU was built.

And Mr. Glenn introduced my mom to my dad, introduced young Marie Augusto from Alexandria, Pineville, Louisiana, to Paul Garland Prejean, who worked at his daddy's bar, Prejean's Lounge.

Not a crazy party guy, but, you know, worked at a bar, had very good friends, was quite popular.

When my mom met my dad, my mom was not Catholic.

She was raised in a Protestant denomination.

They went to a Baptist Bible church in Pineville, Louisiana.

My grandfather, who had come to the United States from Puerto Rico, was raised Catholic, had been confirmed and gone to Mass his whole life, and then met my grandmother and kind of wandered away from the church to go to church with her.

And then Houston Christian beat Southeast Louisiana, in Hammond the other day.

And I think Lamar got a win last night.

The folks over in the driest town in the state, Pineville, Louisiana, don't you buy a beer there.

Don't you step foot on that campus at Christian University, which used to be called Louisiana College.

And they should never lose to LCU.

They can lose all the other games, but they can't lose that one.

Because as bad as their facilities are, they ain't worse than LCU in Pineville, a little NAIA school that, I don't know, LCU's got, I don't know, 1,400 students?

They got 100.

Like, I truly could not understand what we were waiting for on the other side of this category four hurricane.

We evacuated to Pineville, Louisiana, my grandfather's house.
