RTC Legends Series E09: June Dawg

**🎧RTC Legends Series** Episode Nine: June Dawg 🎙️🎙️🎙️RAP…the conversation Legends Series Episode Nine released October 13, 2026 ➡️ Our critically acclaimed RAP…the conversation Legends Series continues this week with a Los Angeles emcee who brings the heavy hitting authenticity of the early-to-mid-90’s to today’s modern musical landscape. Despite the fact that he’s remained at or below the mainstream radar until recent years, June Dawg has actually been active in the business for quite some time. Having recently linked and inked with Inglewood’s own Luxury Sports Management, June Dawg is set to release his new EP, entitled The Most Hated & Slept On, this November. After decades of features and stage shows with many of the names you already know and love, it wasn’t until the release of his first full length album, Trials and Tribulations, in 2024 that June Dawg’s career began to take a new trajectory. Folks may mistakenly presume he is a relatively new artist, however, a deeper dive into his track record illuminates that he has been in the game for years, marinading in that sweet spot just below the oppressive glare of the radar’s crosshairs. From the early days, performing alongside Mr. Short Khop and as an active member of the Allfrumtha I family, June has been perfecting his craft, recording, rockin’ the mic and gaining a first-hand industry education alongside those at the epitome of the West Coast underground scene. In this conversation, we take it back to the beginning of his story and bring our listeners up to speed on where he’s at now, musically and career-wise. Check June Dawg’s latest single 4 Real 4 Real featuring Squeak Ru of Allfrumtha I and stay tuned for his forthcoming ep The Most Hated & Slept On, set to drop in November.
