So Cruel Summers, the magic that you two have with each other is evident from the first album you dropped there, Shang, right into this Cruel Summers.

But I do have to ask you, DB, how much auto-tune is there? Because I love the fact that you have that little bit of auto-tune and then Shang doesn't and it matches so well.

Well...

There's very, very little auto-tune on that.

If any, you know, it's more so in the, you know, in the mix than in the recording.

But I record five-part harmonies, so...

geez.

Yeah.

Yeah, what you're hearing more than auto-tune is the harmonies coming together.

Okay.

And D.B. can sang-sang, like, not just hold a tune.

Like, D.B. can...

He can take you to church.

See, yeah, my kids listen to all the new stuff, so it's the auto-tune stuff, and I don't even know how all that works.

So when you say you're doing a five-layered, you're putting it down five different times?

I'm putting it down five different times and about five different, per note, probably... anywhere from three to five layers.

So when you're hearing that, I came up from R&B.

I was in a five-man a cappella group.

We didn't have beats, so we made our own a cappella music.

Kind of similar to Boyz II Men at that time, but that's all transferred into what I've been doing.

I learned from some really good people from at an early age.

I've been putting harmonies together since I was 12 years old and been dealing with different people, legends in Las Vegas that have helped me get to this point.

So it's a lot of hours that you're hearing when you're hearing it.

Oh, and it goes through, man, the experience just resonates through this record.
