The group decided to make some changes to their group, as they were dropped from Ruthless Records in 1995.

In the same year of 1995, Will.i.am, Apple the App, DJ Motivate, and Dante Santiago formed a new group named Black Eyed Pods, later renamed to Black Eyed Peas.
