The Rams must make the RIGHT CHOICE...

And now let's get back to the news.

So a- as you know, Aaron Donald did not play in week one due to him getting more ramped up.

Now I am in favor of that, but now with this recent Miles Garrett injury update with him going on injured reserve, it certainly begs the question, is Aaron Donald more of a need now than a luxury that he was when he signed with the Rams- Rams? And to me, that answer is yes, and we do have an update from Underdog NFL on Aaron Donald's status heading into week two.

Sean McVay on if Aaron Donald will play week two via Taylor Bisciotti, I hope I said her last name right, haven't decided yet.

And I think that's the right way to go about this.

I don't think you should necessarily have a decision yet as to whether Aaron Donald will play this week.

I think it's really going to depend on how his week of practice goes, because again, he just signed less than a month ago from two years of being away, and without really doing football drills.

Again, he's kept in good physical shape overall, obviously.

But again, NFL game shape is a lot different than just being in good physical shape as a whole.

So again, he's been ramping up more and more.

I'm excited to see how he's gonna do in practice this week.

I know Sean McVay was going on about how that would definitely give them more of an idea as to exactly where he is in his ramp-up process.

And now to me, I think it's gonna be decided later in the week.

I think they need to decide before game time.

I don't want to be here Saturday, Sunday, and it's Aaron Donald, game time decision Monday night.

No, I don't want that.

I don't think that's the right way to go about this.

Sure, it puts, I guess, more questions in the Giants' game plan maybe, but at the end of the day, I think for this Rams defense, there was a lot of questions before week one as to whether Miles Garrett was going to play or not.

Again, obviously with him, the travel, some other things led to that disappointment in that game.

Flush it, forget it.

But for week two, I think the defensive game planning will change- If Aaron Donald's in there or not, regardless, regardless, without Miles Garrett.

But overall, too, with Aaron Donald in there, how is your run defense gonna be? Because their run defense was not good at all in week one.

And we saw the Giants, we saw Cam Scaddetup, we saw Devin Singletary be a very effective receiving back for them as well last night against the Cowboys.

So they definitely need to make sure that they're ready and guard the flats as well, because we saw the Cowboys did not do that last night and that cost them the game there defensively pretty much.

So definitely got to take some notes from that game.
