So we will all have that protective nature of not wanting to put ourselves out there.

However, I would never be where I am today if I hadn't broken those barriers down.

I remember doing my very first Facebook Live in the shop and a person calling me up, a girl that I know, and said that her friend said, Now, I don't know if that's true, but her friend said, do you not think Caroline looks a bit desperate? I was telling about a sale I was having in the shop.

So I got in the window of my shop and it was a summer sale and there was a pink flamingo that I bought in Home Bargains.

And way back then, I think, was there like 400 and something shares of that video locally, which is huge for a
brand.

order store you know I had a queue outside my shop for the sale the next you know day and and visibility online was huge for that so that was the feedback that I got now I had a decision to make at that time because I knew that people talk and there'd always be people saying things about you're showing up online and I really thought carefully about my answer and I said to her you know what I am desperate.

However, when you weigh up the impact that showing up and putting in the brand has you forget about that when you have the wages that weekend when your till is full when your e-commerce store is busy so i would say to a lot of women and men that have that barrier it's always going to be there if you don't if you don't start to take steps towards being that visibility bringing that visibility to your business I believe you're doing a disservice to your business and to your own personal brand as well now it looks different for different people Louise as you know if someone looked at work that I do on my Dig Mama influencer marketing platform which is a whole other conversation that can scare the life out of people because they think well I don't want to be a person holding my phone up cooking my spaghetti bolognese and doing that but that's very much my brand within my other business which is However, your showing up is very much different, but you still show up.

And someone else that owns a corporate business, you know, say, for example, a solicitor or whatever, they can show up in a very professional way, but still has impact and still creates impact.

I suppose that scrolling effect, stop that scrolling on social media or in any of their other platforms.
