Uh, so the post office I frequent, uh, they had a robbery, and I was like, "This is cra- like, this is wild."
Oh.
And it was, it was during the time that, like, I go to the post office, right? I always end up being, like, the last-minute guy.
You know, I'm always, like, trying to figure out, like, can I get there at a certain time, and then can I, you know, you know, make it in there before it closes? And then I'm like, "Wow, this is, this is wild." So and, and, you know, I know I'm gonna fit the stereotype of San Francisco, you know, always bad things happen.
But I'm telling you, it's not that bad, okay? I want a people, I want people listening that San Francisco is not that bad.
But you know what? This is not going to help the story, but, uh, I'll just read part of it.
I thought it was kinda crazy.
Uh, "US Post Office is offering up to $150,000 reward for information of robbery last week at the post office.
Residents are being advised to monitor their financial accounts after the su- suspect or suspects stole four tubs of mail.
The robbery occurred on Thursday between 4:55 PM and 5:10 PM," right? That's, like, right before it closes, right? That's when I try to...
I run in, and what they do is the sliding doors are, like, almost closed.
Luckily, I've lost some weight, so I'm able to, like, slide through and, like, drop off my packages and slide back out.
Uh, they, they, they, they know me, so they're pretty cool about it.
But basically, like, the guy came in a- and assaulted a post office employee and stole the tubs of mail.
[laughs] I'm like, "What the-"
That's, that's awful.
It is awful.
It's terrible, but I'm like...
I told my son, I'm like, "You could've been there at the exact moment that happened," 'cause sometimes I'm lazy, and I'm telling my son, I'm like, "Get in the car," like, and he, "Let's go post office," and I make him run in there.
But man, that, that was wild, right? Like, so anyways, hopefully they catch this guy.
Yeah, it seems, it seems like a strange place.
I mean, you know there's porch pirates.
There's people hoping to get, you know, something good out, in an Amazon box, and like you said, there's that idea of like, "Hey, somebody could be trying to steal identities." Uh, it seems like it'd be easier to just go around a neighborhood and, like, open up mailboxes and take out mail, uh, because then it's like, what are you hoping to get? Like, there might be a handful of, of birthday and, and Christmas car- not Christmas cards, but, like, birthday cards or something where there's some money in there.
Yeah, yeah.
Uh, but, but it just seems like an, an odd place to rob.
