stuff so how about i go first with the first story let's do it all right let's dive in A high school football player in Maumelle High School in Arkansas practiced for about an hour with a venomous snake hiding inside his helmet.
About an hour into practice, the player finally noticed something moving beneath the helmet padding and handed the helmet to a coach.
Inside was a roughly two-foot-long cottonmouth, a venomous snake, sometimes called a water moccasin.
Nobody was bitten or injured.
Animal services removed and relocated the snake, hopefully not into another helmet.
And the school's athletic director said that in 10 years, he's never encountered anything remotely like this.
And the animal services officials said he's removed snakes from cars, purses, and backpacks, but never a football helmet.
Miles, the student apparently wore the helmet for an hour before realizing there was a snake in there.
Mark, this is absolutely absurd.
The snake in the helmet, can't even believe it.
What are these school athletic programs coming to? I think it's the lack of funding.
I think it's just simply the lack of oversight.
These children are on their own now these days.
What's blowing me away about the story is that Everyone's just talking about how that kid could have had a snake in his helmet for an hour, but they're not amazed that he even survived.
This kid wants to play division one football.
He can't even recognize when there's a two foot venomous snake wrapped around his skull.
And did Kazoo wear a helmet or did he have a snake in his helmet? I think he wore a helmet, right?
Yeah.
That's, oh, did that come to you from the studio? They were friends.
Fred.
Ah, they weren't friends.
