Get this: Copart is acquiring ACV Auctions for one point nine billion in cash.

They're paying about ten and a half bucks per share, about forty-five percent above where ACV was trading before word of the deal broke.

The deal-- the idea is that Copart brings physical scale and international buyer demand, while ACV brings dealer relationships, digital inspections, and valuation tech.

For franchise and independent dealers, the combined platform should mean more liquidity options and easier logistics on trade-in consolidation.

That's big news to all of our friends at both sides, but in particular to George over there at ACV.

Moving on to a useful data point for a sales-- for the sales floor.

In other news then, the Gauteng Police Commissioner Tommy Mtombeni warned that motorcycles used for delivering fast food and other deliveries are increasingly targeted by criminals.

Mtombeni announced the crime stats for the period between April and June this year.

Those are now becoming targets and that race when it comes to the figure of motor vehicles hijacked because they are included and classified as such.
