Join Chopin, Lee, Andy & Paddy as they sit down to discuss the recent theatrical release of The Sign O The Times concert movie in IMAX cinemas across the world. We talk about seeing this for the first…
So, Lee, what was the first time you saw it? What,
the first time? Jesus, I probably couldn't remember.
It was probably when I was playing catch-up, when I became a Prince Van, what, early 90s, late 80s, early 90s, Batman, leading into Diamonds and Pearls.
So yeah, and then I was just playing catch up and I probably watched like a VHS tape of it or a friend had it on VHS tape and watched it on that.
And yeah, it was just more of a seeing him perform live and obviously it then led into watching a lot of the specials like VH1, Beautiful Experience, Ride Divine and all of that.
So yeah,
yeah yeah and
it was
it was
great to see on vhs but when i saw it on imax i went to my local cinema because my son works there so yeah he he was supposed to come with me and i was like i'll have uh show him like prints because he kind of like dad does this print stuff he doesn't really take any interest in it um and i was like oh he works at cinema i'll get a free ticket and he'll come with me.
And then all of a sudden he's like, Oh, I'm sorry.
I have to work.
So I ended up going on my own, but there was loads of Prince fans in locally where I live as well.
So it was really, really good to see.
Oh, do you know my dad? Yeah.
So,
um, that was really good.
And, um, yeah.
And I was, I was blown away.
Um, You pay more interest in it when you're watching it and it's just really like it's over the top of you, really.
And I think I wrote a review and I said it was like having Skittles being thrown at your face.
