The Power of A Dream

Hey, what would you do if you were coming home late at night, and just as you got out of your car in front of your house, somebody ran up on you, pulled down a [censored], shot you, and left you for dead? [heartbeat] I don't know what you'd do, but I can tell you what I did, and I share this story because I think there's some powerful lessons on the power of a dream.

And I don't mean in the rah-rah, fluffy, motivational, "I can dream, you can dream," you know, whatever.

I mean practical application for you guys, the entrepreneurs who watch my channel here on YouTube and listen to my podcast on any of the audio platforms.

I do believe there is power in dreams, and I believe they make a difference in your life, and I believe, as I will share in this story, I think they can save your life.

So this is actually the... my...

the Power of a Dream keynote, which I've presented all over the world.

I've spoken in, I think I'm up to 53 countries now, more than two million people spread across those countries.

But I don't tell this speech in every presentation.

And of course, there's some people in that group of two million people that have seen me 10 times or 25 times.

Um, so the actual number of the people in the world who've heard this story is probably half a million, which leaves about eight billion who have never heard this story [laughs] including some of the people who are nearest and dearest to me, people that I love dearly, who've never heard this whole story because, of course, they don't go to my speeches.

[laughs] " 'Cause that's just Randy.

We can see him anytime.

But I hear Tony Robbins is coming next month," or, you know, whoever.

[laughs] So I wanna share with you this keynote, but without the keynote show business.

I don't have any lasers or PowerPoints or lighting.

Um, I don't have an audience of 6,000 people.

I don't even have a stage.

As you see, I'm just here in my home office.

But I wanna share the principles of this lesson because I think it can provide a lot of insights to where you go and what you wanna do with your life.
