I mean, I think the best way to think about this is, is not really as a direct sequel.
So this takes place w- they're whereabouts like 15, 16, 17 years after the events of the first movie.
Um, it's a very different story.
The first movie obviously about the creation of Facebook and everything that went on there with Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin and, and all the cast of characters involved in that landmark achievement.
The many, um, lawsuits and litigations and, and studies and things like that that have called out the effects of social media.
And this really, uh, centers most directly around a whistleblower named Frances Haugen, who, uh, worked with a Wall Street Journal reporter named Jeff Horwitz to blow the whistle on all sorts of things that Facebook knew about, covered up, and were subsequently, uh, revealed in sort of like this expose.
So that is really the, the meat and potatoes in it.
If you've watched the trailer, you know that Mark Zuckerberg also plays a role in this movie.
Um, interestingly, like that, there, there's sort of this, like, dual story situation happening where the Mark Zuckerberg piece is sort of its, its own separate thing.
But I'm sure we'll get into that a little bit.
Anything else we need to cover before we get into it?
No, I think that's it.
All right.
So let's start.
Take one.
We're gonna do take one, take two, take three, uh, unique opinions and takes on these movie, on this movie, and then we'll get into our last looks, which are our final thoughts and score out of 10.
