Well, I will say that this has been a rather shocking turn of events that even the pop culture confidential movie draft could not even have predicted.

I think that it is pretty phenomenal, honestly, because when we've had big box office events, it's usually giant blockbusters that lead the charge.

we have not ever seen at least in, and I could be wrong and you could correct me, Christina, cause you're heck of a lot smarter than I am.

Um, is that I don't remember two movies of this small magnitude coming around at the same time and hitting the mark the way that they have with audiences.

Um, Now, if you want to say, you know, this has happened before and that horror movies in general are, you know, the prime suspect right now for box office success, then absolutely 1000% you'd be correct.

But in a long kind of interesting way, this has been building up to this.

I think that it's been building up to it since Jordan Peele and the films of him.

And I think it's built up since last summer with Zach Kreger.

And I think what's so interesting about this is the demographic.

We're talking about young kids.

coming back to the theaters to see a product that's entirely made for them.

Both Back Rooms and Obsession are movies.

And made

by them.

And are made by them for them.

Not by a bunch

of us olds

coming and telling them what to do.

No, but they are financed by a ton of olds.

That's true.

And they are curated by people that see potential in the future.

And I mean, for Obsession, it's Jason Blum, who is...

I mean, he's the, the Craig

or both of those movies.

They have both of them.
