The Dark Knight

I don't think Scream is the one contributor, like the sole contributor, like, oh, that clicked it.

Because for me, it is still always the Dark Knight.

Now, and what I guess I should say, just me being so invested in film and also wanting to make films and work on film stuff, which we're doing now, you know, our film Adrenochrome, December 4th.

got lots of other stuff cooking i i know i say that we do have lots of like feet in the fire and i do want to explain at some point because i think like we post something and like oh is this for that one i'm like no it's for a different one i think some people why you guys got like four or five projects on the go it's because like when we got locations and someone's about to move or we only got time for anything or time to like a time to exclusive to get it we filmed there because we don't got the money to pay for all these sets so it's like hey if we got a location let's do this same thing there's things that i shot that's not coming out for a few years from now Talk to my sister.

All right.

We're going to do that.

So, but, so Dark Knight is definitely the like light bulb.

Hey, I'm interested in this.

all right here's what we got in denver tonight wait luke's

watching those uh movies now uh the batman the dark knight he watched it last night

he's all right i was like where's

he does say that yeah yeah

yeah he never says where is she he goes where's rachel um the dark knight is one of the greatest movies ever made Period.

Period.

And Batman Begins is pretty damn good, too.

where he's got lines is genuine horror

yeah absolutely and like I mentioned at the start like you know that I'd bring up Batman a bit like nolan clearly took that for the dark knight didn't he

yeah

you know and there's a lot of stuff in this that i think nolan lifted from the dark not in a bad way either i think the um the bit i mentioned earlier on where they they staged that setup thing and they think they've got the tooth fairy but it's just some jogger and and graham points the gun at him and he's like no don't or something like that It's exactly even the way they frame it looks exactly the same as in The Dark Knight, where Gordon takes off the mask and he's like, we got you, you son of a bitch.

Like they frame it in that exact same way.

And I'm sure like I think The Dark Knight in particular is a love letter to Michael Mann.

And a lot of the.

Oh, it is 100%.

Therapist would be the best, dude.

How does that make you feel? They look like the Joker from, like, The Dark Knight.

He looks like a jackass, the way you're talking to me right now, wearing the Halloween costume.

He's like, and your husband said this to you this morning? I'm sorry.

We like what we liked in high school.

And I can add to the phenomenon, my favorite movie is Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight.

I've often said nothing will ever top the experience I had of going to the theater at midnight when I was 15 years old, tagging along with my brother and watching the comic book crime epic unfold.

And it turns out I'm probably right.

Oh, man.

I swear that man didn't exist before The Dark Knight, and then he was just in every weird role.

[laughs]

[laughs]

I'm grabbing her ass! Yeah.

He's doing Dark Knight.

Why didn't they cast Bill Hader to do Pacino?

At that point, yeah, it's like, might as well just get him if you're going to do that.

$140 because you people refuse to label the DMV a monopoly, question them on antitrust issues, or charge them with racketeering.

Have you people even heard of the RICO statute? No? Then I suggest you watch The Dark Knight.

Hey, Chad.

So how's your day? Sighs.
