What I appreciate with you is that you've always been a huge supporter of indie film, especially around here.
And you recently, I've watched New Fear's Eve and you recently made a cameo in that.
So going back to you talking about acting, have you been interested in acting again? Or was that just like a little fun thing to do or like?
No, I mean, that was definitely a fun thing to do, but it's something that, That I would love to do.
I think it's probably going to have to be a situation where I write something for myself.
Because again, I know that the life of a full-time actor is really, that's, you got to commit, that's got to be your 24-7 job.
And that's also, you know, you can look at writing and directing and producing stuff to put yourself in.
Like those are all options, but yeah, like, cause I, you know, I'm not going to get any, I wrote final destination.
That's not going to open any, uh, Oh, we got to get that guy in our, you know, so it's not, it's not like I was in the walking dead or something where I can, you know, like build my credits up that way.
So, um, no, I, I would love to act, but again, that's a full, I mean, you know, that's a full time commitment.
So like when I write, I commit to it, but you know, that's why, again, I'm, I'm really trying to shift focus now and to trying to, produce more, but also create, create, get more in a space where it's, where I find the joy in it more because a lot, a lot of it, a lot of it is hustling to like get your next thing done.
And you, but you want to operate with integrity, which a lot of people don't do.
And then you, after a while you, you, You're in this business mindset of like, okay, I got to get something going.
comes a business yeah it is they they it's like oh they call it show business not show friendship or show having fun show business and now the business is really business um but you know when i i was at in the small town like grandview or granbury texas this weekend for a um this you know a small horror convention but i walked around the town town square and i saw like a you know a thing up at the theater like they're having like plays all year like and i'm like oh this is really cool like so that even in that town like those people are like getting to be creative and and getting to act and and be in front of an audience and that that's really i mean yes we want to we need to make money at it like we want to like that's you know you need money to unfortunately to live um but that can't be your driving factor or celebrity or fame um that can't really be your driving factor because people sniff that out pretty quickly.
And then if you're just wanting to be famous, then there's obviously some void in your life.
